SEEM FYP Report Writing Workshop

On March 8 and 11, undergraduate students from the Department of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management (SEEM) and the Department of Financial Technology (FTEC) attended two identical workshop sessions on academic writing in Final Year Project (FYP) reports. The workshop was conducted as part of the English Across the Curriculum (EAC) collaboration and was facilitated by Mr. Fung. Students gained insights into various aspects of language usage, including tenses, pronouns, and stylistic conventions such as referencing. In a post-workshop feedback survey, the students expressed their appreciation for Mr. Fung’s clear presentation of the workshop. The EAC project team is pleased with the positive outcome of the workshop and looks forward to future collaborations with the Department of SEEM and FTEC.
