Dandelion

by Stella Tsui Lok Yiu

My heart is a dandelion

Dancing in the wind, searching

For an affection to call home

Yet she shatters, over and over again

For the hurricane that plunges her into turmoil,

Piece by piece, withering away,

Her soul from within

My love,

Hold onto your seeds,

Entrust them with faith

Let them flow through the breeze

When the time has come

They will float back, with a love

That blooms with endless fondness and warmth,

Like golden rays that spill through the gentle waves
