Creative Writing Workshops

The ELTU offers workshops on different genres of creative writing – poetry, short story, digital narratives, creative non-fiction, food writing and memoir. These interactive workshops aim to enhance students’ abilities to write compelling prose and poetry through the analysis of the distinctive characteristics of each genre and the application of a variety of literary devices and techniques. Students will have the opportunity to experiment with creative elements in a range of activities and discussion suitable for both novice and experienced writers alike.

The workshops are free and there are no prerequisites. No previous writing or publishing experience is required. Current CUHK undergraduate students, postgraduate students and staff members from all faculties and programs are encouraged to participate.
