On March 16th, 2023, Dr. Cherry Chan held a workshop for students enrolled in CHED4320 Introduction to Educational Research on research proposal writing in preparation for the proposal they will write for this course. Dr. Chan provided an in-depth introduction into the different language and organizational skills students will need to utilize when writing each section of their report. The workshop relied on a mixture of student samples and extracts from professional papers as writing examples. Students found the workshop to be helpful and appreciated Dr. Chan’s enthusiastic presentation of the materials. The EAC project team is pleased with how this workshop went and looks forward to future collaborations with the Early Childhood Education Programme.
