On 15 March 2024, Ms. Molly Tuttle conducted two identical sessions of an online workshop on final-year project (FYP) report writing for Mechanical and Automation Engineering (MAE) undergraduate students. The sessions were designed to familiarize students with the structural conventions of the results & discussion and conclusion sections of FYP reports and to prepare them for editing their writing. Students were invited to engage in interactive exercises to test their newly acquired knowledge. Responses in a post-workshop feedback survey showed that students appreciated the workshop content and design. They particularly complimented the teacher’s clear delivery and the interactive elements of the sessions. The EAC team looks forward to future collaborations with the Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering.
