On March 1^st, 2023, Ms. Ella Leung and Mr. Yao Hing Wong held a workshop for students enrolled in PHYS2722 Physics Laboratory III. The workshop focused on preparing students to write their long lab report by introducing them to various academic language skills that they will need in the writing process. This marked the second intervention in the new collaboration between the EAC project and the Department of Physics. Students found the workshop materials to be useful and Ms. Leung and Mr. Wong’s presentation of the material to be engaging. Overall, the EAC project team is pleased with how this workshop went and looks forward to future collaborations with the Department of Physics.
