On September 15^th, 2022, Dr. Olive Cheung joined Dr. Murat Es’s seminar for final year Urban Studies Programme (URSP_ seminars to present a workshop on Literature Review writing in preparation for writing their capstone project. This was the fifth year the EAC Project team has presented this workshop to URSP students. Students were introduced to the main features of a literature review as well as strategies they can use for writing their own literature review. Following this introduction, students were given an opportunity to work with sample literature reviews from past students to practice identifying good samples and implementing these strategies. The feedback from students following the workshop was overwhelmingly positive. Students found the content useful for getting ready to write their own literature reviews and found Dr. Cheung’s presentation to be effective and engaging. The EAC team is happy to hear that students enjoyed this workshop and looks forward to returning for a second workshop in January 2023.
