On November 24th, Dr. Yanne Tse held group presentation consultation sessions for students enrolled in NSCI3000 Science and Applications of Biomimicry. This was the third year that the English Across the Curriculum (EAC) Project provided consultations for students enrolled in this course to help them prepare for their final presentations. Students were given fifteen minutes to give their presentation and then Dr. Tse provided feedback on language and content related issues. Additionally, students were provided with a guide prior to the session to help them prepare. Overall, the feedback from students was positive; they appreciated the feedback they received from Dr. Tse and how they can immediately utilize it in their upcoming final presentation. The EAC team is happy that students found these consultation sessions to be useful and looks forward to further collaborations with the Natural Sciences Programme.
