On 7 November 2023, Ms Sarah Abramson, Mr Peter Andrews, Mr Dean Fisher, Mr David Gardner, Ms Jenna Lee, Ms Rhea Murdeshwar, and Ms Cynthia Sin Pui Wong conducted online group presentation consultations for undergraduate students who were enrolled in EESC1001 Exploring Earth and Environmental Sciences/UGEB1870 Exploring Earth and Environmental Sciences. The sessions were designed to enhance students’ oral presentation skills by providing immediate feedback on their language usage and presentation design. In a post-workshop feedback survey, students reported that they found the consultations to be insightful and gave overall positive feedback. The EAC team is pleased with the results of the intervention and looks forward to future collaborations with the Earth and Environmental Sciences Programme.
