On March 17 and 20, 2025, Mr. Andy O’Gorman conducted two identical sessions of a workshop on final-year project (FYP) presentations for undergraduate students in the Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering (MAE). This was a newly designed oral presentation intervention in the EAC-MAE collaboration. The workshop aimed to familiarize students with the conventions of presentation content structure and design. Additionally, students received instruction on various verbal and non-verbal presentation techniques and learned how to effectively handle a Q&A session. In a post-workshop feedback survey, students expressed appreciation for the instructor’s interaction with the class and the language tips provided during the lesson. The EAC team looks forward to future collaborations with the Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering.
