Workshop on Final Year Project PowerPoint Presentations for the Department of Information Engineering (IE)

On 22 November 2021, Ms Molly Tuttle conducted a one-and-a-half-hour face-to-face workshop for IE final-year students to prepare them for the FYP PowerPoint presentations. The workshop aimed to help students understand how to organize and present important features of their FYPs more effectively, design better visual aids, handle the Q&A session, and how their English will be graded. As indicated by a post-workshop survey, the workshop was generally well-received by the students. They found the content useful and appreciated the teacher’s enthusiasm and clarity. It is encouraging for the EAC team to learn that the content aims were satisfied, and the EAC team looks forward to providing the students with another presentation workshop that will focus on poster presentation skills next semester.
