Following the preparation workshop conducted in late September 2019 before students’ submission of the first reflective essays in Dr Wyman Tang’s ANTH100 Understanding Anthropology, Ms Laura Man held a feedback session on 28 October 2019 to celebrate the students’ generally satisfactory performance and to prompt for improvement. Compared with the students in the previous year without attending a pre-assignment workshop, students this year have shown an enhanced performance in essay structure. Areas covered in the session included 1) examining the key elements of strong and weak essay samples, 2) reviewing issues for further development and 3) revisiting topics from the previous workshop.
