Academic and Research Writing Strategies Workshop for the Department of Cultural and Religious Studies (CURE)

On February 1st, 2024, Dr. Allen Ho returned to the CURE2157 Intermediate Seminar class to present a second workshop on academic writing. This workshop focused on common errors based on former CURE2157 students’ papers as well as other linguistic features of academic writing. Students were provided with several opportunities to complete exercises where they could practice what they were learning. Overall, students found the workshop’s content useful and Dr. Ho’s presentation of the material engaging. The EAC Project team is pleased with how this workshop went and looks forward to future collaborations with the Department of Cultural and Religious Studies.
