The EAC project team is excited to launch a fifth CoP with the Department of Cultural and Religious Studies this academic year. The target course is Prof Katrien Jacobs’ CURE4022 Critical Approaches to Pornography, where a flexible intervention model in the form of group writing consultations was adopted to prepare students for their final paper. Ms Mary Johannes is the frontline teacher who conducted the consultations based on the textual analyses of students’ previous coursework. Students were very appreciative of Ms Johannes’ detailed advice and feedback on their drafts and found the consultations to be very helpful. The EAC project team is grateful for this new opportunity and looks forward to enriching this collaboration in the future.
