On March 2nd, 2022, Ms. Sarah Abramson presented a 90 minute workshop to Professor Ruslan Yusupov’s class, CURE 2112 Myth, Symbol, and Ritual, over Zoom. The first half of the workshop provided students with strategies to help further their engagement with journal articles and allow them to think critically about the content. The second half of the workshop shifted to how to then use these strategies for film analysis, in preparation for the final paper for this class. Students found Ms. Abramson to be a clear and enthusiastic presenter, appreciating the hands-on nature of the workshop and the practicality of the content. The EAC project team is happy to hear about the positive reception of this workshop and looks forward to more collaborations with Professor Yusupov and the Department of Cultural and Religious Studies in the future.
