The EAC team had a meeting with Dr. John O’Reilly, Lecturer of the SSPE Department, on 10 September 2018 to discuss the arrangements for the research writing workshop to be conducted in mid-September and the collaboration with the SSPE Department in the 2018–2019 academic year. In the meeting, the EAC team presented findings on students’ performance in the research proposals completed in SPED3630 Introduction to Research Methods in Term 2 of the 2017–2018 academic year. The improvements made by students in the final draft (based on the feedback provided by the EAC team to the first draft) were highlighted. Workshop materials, developed based on the analysis of students’ performance in the two research proposal drafts mentioned above, were also shared with Dr. O’Reilly.
