This course is designed for second-year Social Work students aiming to strengthen their communication skills, which are essential for effective social work practice. Adopting a genre-analysis approach, the course focuses on the critical examination of authentic texts to understand the distinctive linguistic features and structures of specialized genres in the social work field.  

Students will learn the principles of professional communication and engage in the preparation of case recordings, the composition of reports for appropriate agencies, and the drafting of formal letters.
