Creative Writing Workshops

The ELTU offers creative writing nights and workshops which cover varied genres of creative writing such as poetry, short story, digital narratives, creative non-fiction, food writing and memoir. These gatherings aim to enhance students’ abilities to write compelling prose and poetry through the analysis of the distinctive characteristics of each genre and the application of a variety of literary devices and techniques. Students will have the opportunity to develop and stretch their writing skills in a range of activities and discussions suitable for both novice and experienced writers alike.

The workshops are free and there are no prerequisites. No previous writing or publishing experience is required. Current CUHK undergraduate students, postgraduate students and staff members from all faculties and programs are encouraged to participate.
