On October 8, 2025, Mr. Yao Hing Wong conducted an in-person academic writing workshop for undergraduate students in the Department of Physics. The workshop aimed to familiarize students with the conventions of short lab reports, focusing on structure, formatting, and academic writing requirements. During the session, students learned about the common sections and language expectations for each part of the report. Additionally, the workshop provided information on the formatting standards for figures and tables. Ms. Ella Leung also shared with students the common errors made by former students.

In a post-workshop feedback survey, students reported that they found the workshop informative and appreciated Mr. Wong’s engaging, clear, and enjoyable teaching style. The EAC team looks forward to future collaborations with the Department of Physics.
