On 11 February 2026, Dr Joseph Cho and Ms Kristy Chan co-facilitated the first of a three-part workshop series for Dr Joseph Cho’s course, GDRS1002 Feminisms: Theories, Debates and Activism. This is the eighth year of this collaboration between the English Across the Curriculum (EAC) Project and the Gender Studies Programme (GDRS). The focus of the workshop was on argument building, where argumentative skills were taught upon the appreciation of Francine Deutsch’s theory on undoing gender. Students were given the opportunity to study Deutsch’s theory in class and identify the argumentative components. Students’ overall feedback for the workshop was positive. Ms Chan will return for the second workshop in this series on 11 March 2026.
