On 13 November 2025, Mr Johnson Chan delivered the third and final legal writing workshop in the series via Zoom to students in the Faculty of Law’s Juris Doctor, Bachelor of Laws, and Master of Laws programmes. The session focused on legal opinion writing skills, with the objectives of teaching students to 1) explore legal opinion variations, 2) consider writing options, and 3) identify common language errors. The workshop aimed to build upon the foundational legal writing skills covered in previous workshops and address more detailed aspects of legal writing to prepare students for assignments. The overall student feedback was positive, and with many expressing appreciation for the workshop’s accessible delivery and practical content.
