On 29 September 2025, Mr Alan Wong conducted a workshop to prepare first year students for writing response papers in Dr Tim Rosenkranz’s course, ANTH1100 Understanding Anthropology. The objectives of the workshop are 1) citing sources appropriately, 2) describing the structure and elements of a response paper, 3) paraphrasing sources to incorporate in writing, and 4) acquiring academic language skills. The workshop serves as an overview to response paper writing, and students were engaged in class discussions and exercises. The overall student feedback was positive, and the EAC team looks forward to delivering the feedback session in late October.
