Mr Abdulwahab Tahhan conducted a one-hour memoir writing workshop via Zoom on 26 March 2021. This was the last workshop in the creative writing series this term, and participants included staff and students across the faculties who were both novice and advanced writers. In this workshop, Mr Tahhan introduced the essence of writing a captivating memoir and strategies to passionately express personal stories. Participants were given opportunities to share their ideas during group discussions and respond to short writing prompts. The workshop was praised as informative and fun, and the warm atmosphere and Mr Tahhan’s enthusiastic delivery were particular highlights. The Creative Writing Project Team is happy to receive such positive feedback and looks forward to planning future events and activities to expand the initiative.
