Description

This course aims to enable third-year social science majors to gain understanding and conduct analysis of important social issues and current affairs around the world. Students will develop research, presentation, and communication skills, essential for discussing and analysing complex contemporary topics in a multifaceted world with clarity and depth. Learning activities include summarizing and synthesizing research input, delivering group presentations and giving impromptu speeches on a wide range of themes. Through these activities students will be equipped with tools to critically engage with and express informed opinions on global affairs.
