This course aims to both further enrich the English language skills of third-year students in the Faculty of Medicine and teach different approaches to traditional medicine from across the globe. Students will also develop an understanding of how forms of traditional medicine have developed throughout history, as well as an appreciation of how its current practice is tied to various socio-political aspects. Coursework includes writing two summaries and giving a presentation. Advisory: For Year 3 students in the Faculty of Medicine only.
