This course is designed for second-year Social Work students aiming to strengthen their competence in professional communication across diverse social work settings. Adopting a genre-analytic and task-oriented approach, it examines authentic texts and analyses the distinctive linguistic features that characterise professional discourse in the field. 

Students will learn to produce case recordings, formal letters, and persuasive presentations that demonstrate sensitivity to audience and context.
