Student Activities Project

The Student Activities Project was launched by the ELTU in 2012 in order to promote alternate approaches to English language learning and engage students in authentic English practice outside the classroom. Events and activities organised by the Project have included various Social-Meet-Ups focussed on themes as diverse as Halloween and Jazz, outings such as hiking and barbecues, a tea-appreciation evening, movie nights, English-material giveaways, and service-learning experiences. It is also an avenue in which ELTU instructors and students can work together to create fun, interactive events for their peers while bolstering their own leadership, organization, and event management skills as a apart of the English Ambassadors Scheme. Interested students can join the Scheme and be a part of the event organisation process from inception to implementation. Read More
